CV

• Education:

  I went to primary school at St Peter Chanel School in Sidcup, London. In year 6 I took the 11+ exam and got into Bexley and Erith Technical Highschool (BETHS), which was the local grammar school. This was an interesting experience as the school was very formal. It was also an all boys school! In year 8, my family moved to Derbyshire and I went to the local secondary school, Highfields, which was a big change from the school in London! After secondary school I went to the sixth form attached to Highfields. This was where my teachers really helped me decide what I wanted to do, and narrow down what area I wanted to study. After that I went to the university of Leicester to study Physics and Space science and get my masters degree.

• Qualifications:

  I have GCSEs  including Mathematics (9), Further Mathematics (A*), Computing (A*), Physics (A*). I received 8 grade A*-A, 3 grade 9-6 in total, as they were in the process of changing from letters to numbers while I was working on them. I can’t remember most of my GCSEs! I only ever kept a record of the ones that were most relevant to my career.

  I have A-levels in Maths (A), Further Maths (B), Physics (A), and Chemistry (B).

  I received a First-class Honours Masters in Physics and Space Science from the university of Leicester

  I am currently researching to receive a PhD from the University of Northumbria

• Work History:

  I had some paid work experience at a company that restored and built steam engines.

  I worked briefly as an environmental consultant, where I wrote a report on the law and guidance about storing dangerous liquids on farms.

  Besides this I haven’t had any other jobs, as I am still very early on in my career!

• Current Job:

  I am currently a PhD student at the University of Northumbria. As part of this I research my field of Solar Science, and sometimes help the professors teach.
