My job is split between teaching university students and doing research. For teaching, I mainly teach students studying sport and exercise science which looks at how the human body responds to exercise. It combines knowledge from biology, physiology, biomechanics, psychology, and nutrition to understand and improve performance, health, and well-being.
For my research I mainly work with people with long term conditions to see how exercise might help them.
