Hello! I am a Project Management Degree Apprentice in the Space and Defence Industry and I live in Newcastle. I love doing sports, travelling, going to concerts and walking my dogs!

After work and on weekends, I love to go swimming, dancing and to the gym. I also like walking my dogs, Poppy and Dexter.
I really like to go to lots of concerts and have seen people such as Sam Fender, Taylor Swift, Artic Monkeys and Billie Eilish. When I get chance I also like going to music festivals.
I enjoy travelling with my friends, and hope to go on lots of holidays this year!

I am a project management degree apprentice working on projects involving Satellites in space and on Earth Observation projects where we look at images of the earth from space.

I work from 8-4 on all days apart from Wednesdays, when I attend University online.
In my day to day role, I organise and help run meetings, create documents and have project meetings with the different teams. I have to link all the work I do to key skills and behaviors on my apprenticeship course.
I get involved in STEM work and get to visit schools for careers fairs and events such as World Space Week.

Qualifications:
I have GCSE’s for Maths, English Literature, English Language, Geography, French, Art, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
I have A levels in Biology, English Language and English Literature.
I am currently working towards my degree in Project Management.

Work History:
My first job at 14 was at a dog kennels where I used to walk the dogs there early on a morning or after school.
I then was a pot-wash at a local restaurant when I was 16 for a summer, before moving to work at a pub/ restaurant where I stayed for 3 years until I moved to Newcastle for my apprenticeship.

What did you want to be after you left school?
I changed my mind a lot! - marine biologist, zoologist, radiographer, marketing, journalist etc.
If you weren't doing this job, what would you choose instead?
I think a travel journalist would be really cool!
